2008 Summer Championship Meets
Divisionals, All-Stars, and Mid-Caps
The end of the summer swim season ends with a series of three championship meets, Divisionals, All-Stars, and Mid CAPS. The first championship meet is Divisionals, and it is on
Saturday, July 19th at Carlisle Swim Club. Divisionals is a meet where all six teams from our Division (AAAA) will have swimmers competing in a championship format. In order to be eligible to enter the
Divisional meet, a swimmer must have been in at least 3 regular dual meets (this does not include any invitationals). There are four divisional meets occurring on the west shore (Division AAAA, AAA, AA, and A).
The top 16 swimmers in each event from all four combined divisional meets will advance to All-Stars, which is Sunday, July 20th at Camp Hill Municipal Pool. The top 8 at
All-Stars will then advance to Mid-Caps on Saturday, July 26th at the Cumberland Valley High School Pool where they will face the top 8 from the east shore All-Star meet.
At Divisionals, each swimmer may swim a maximum of three events, which includes relays. There is no fee for the divisional entries. A swimmer may swim 3
individual events and no relays if they wish or any combination of individual events and relays that total three events. Parents need to complete the following entry form for each of your swimmer(s) to inform
the coaches what events they wish to swim. They will need to identify their top 3 INDIVIDUAL event choices in order from first choice to last choice. At the bottom of the entry form, they should
indicate if they would like to participate in a relay (which would then take the place of their third choice individual event). The coach will determine which swimmers will be on the relays.
Also, if you are interested in swimming in Divisionals, but know that you cannot attend the All-Star or Mid-Cap meet due to a conflict, please note that on your Divisionals entry
form.
